Small Guzheng String Set

Guzheng strings are numbered from the thickest and lowest as string 1, and the higher the number the thinner and higher the string runs, up to 21 on a full instrument. A small guzheng carries twelve, so its string 1 is neither the pitch nor the gauge of string 1 on a 21-string zheng, and ordering by the larger instrument's numbers leaves you with a string that will not come to pitch. These Dunhuang strings are sold one number at a time, so you replace only what broke. Bring the broken string to our Taipei shop if you would rather have the gauge matched by eye.
