Non-slip Pad

An endpin rest answers one problem: on a hard floor the endpin of a cello travels. This is a solid wooden disc, the point of the endpin settles into the middle of it and stops there, and unlike a strap it does not need a chair with a leg to tie to, so it works the same on a stool, a bench or a bare stage. Maple is the pale wood and walnut the dark one; they do the same job, so take the one you would rather look at. Set the endpin to your playing length first and place the disc afterwards, because where the disc goes follows the angle at which the cello sits against you.
