Erquan Strings

Erquan strings are not simply another brand of erhu string; they are heavier gauges made for the lower erquan tuning, where an ordinary string goes slack and the tone thins out. They are sold one string at a time here, with Dongwu as an outer, Xinghai as an inner, and Dunhuang and Kaikai in both, so check whether it is the inner or the outer you are short of before you order. The inner is the thicker of the two and the pair rarely wears at the same rate, but a new string next to a tired one will not blend, so change them together.
